Each year we are excited to taste shincha, our special release of freshly harvested sencha tea. Its youthful energy is distinct from the mature character of our regular sencha brands.
Only a limited quantity of shincha is produced, and we sell out every year, so pre-order to secure your taste of this special tea.

How does it taste?

Verdant fragrance and energetic flavour full of vitality. The taste of spring, with the lingering bittersweetness that is characteristic of buds.

How/when to enjoy it?

When you want to enjoy this year’s shincha, but don’t have the time to prepare it with a kyusu.

What to enjoy it with?

Vegetables that express verdant freshness, like broad beans or asparagus. Or perhaps foods associated with refreshing fragrances, like lemon cake.
