What is Shincha?
Shincha is a special release of sencha green tea that is produced and shipped just days after it was harvested. Our Shincha has an amazingly fresh fragrance and a vibrant, naturally sweet and slightly bitter taste, like spring vegetables.
Fans delight in the nuances in this tea’s flavour, which change year-to-year depending on the climate in region.
The lid and body fit perfectly, creating a custom seal
The lid and mouth of the kyusu have been custom-shaped to fit each other perfectly so that tea does not leak when pouring. The knob is also easy to hold when removing the lid.
Pours out every last drop
The strainer inside has a large number of holes. Easily pours out the very last drop and the concentrated flavour that it contains.
Shallow design and black color make it easier to see the tea leaves
When you add water to this kyusu, the tea leaves suddenly take on a fresh, vivid appearance. It is a dark ceramic, which contrasts with the tea leaves' colour, allowing you to view them clearly.
