I produce catalogues and leaflets.

Which brand do you drink along with alcoholic drinks?

Mugicha (Barley Tea) (loose barley grains)

How do you like to drink it?

When I wake up, I boil enough water in a large deep cooking pot to make mugicha to last the whole day for all the family. It’s part of my morning routine. I like to drink a cupful of mugicha before a meal to cool down, and a cup of hot mugicha is great for winding down at the end of the day. I warm it up in the microwave. Mugicha is almighty. It works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

I took over as president in November 2020.

What’s your regular brand?

Matcha Ikuyo-no-mukashi

How do you like to drink it?

I drink matcha in my favourite bowl to wake me up in the morning. It has good umami and just the right amount of astringency to clear the mind. If you only make one serving, the water doesn’t take long to boil, so it’s soon ready.
There are no tea leaves left over, so tidying up is quick, too. It makes a brief stop for tea feasible, even on the busiest mornings.

I handle press inquiries.

What’s your regular brand?

Sencha Hosen

How do you like to drink it?

On work mornings I prepare it with boiling water. The tea wakes me up and helps me switch into working mode.
In the afternoons, I like to bring out more umami and a milder taste to enjoy as I relax.
