Sakura mochi with Kuki Gyokuro

Sakura mochi is pink-coloured rice cake with a red bean paste centre, wrapped in a cherry blossom leaf pickled with salt. Its combination of a slightly salty taste and the sweetness of the refined bean paste will bring a smile to your face. Sakura mochi goes well with the taste and verdant fragrance of Kuki Gyokuro.

2 tbsp. (10 g)
Boiling hot water (210 ml / 7 oz)

Use 2 tablespoons of tea leaves.
Use enough tea leaves to cover the bottom of the teapot in order to sufficiently bring out the tea’s flavour and fragrance.
