Enjoy matcha easily using any kind of bowl, cup or glass
Why not try something a little different for teatime? Don’t hesitate to choose matcha because of an impression that it’s difficult to prepare. When you actually give it a try, it’s surprisingly easy. You might find yourself wondering why you were so hesitant in the first place. Tsukikage matcha is well-balanced, with just the right amount of smooth mellow flavour and lightness.
How do Ippodo staff use it?
Fully savour this matcha, which is only available in autumn, with seasonal sweets made with chestnuts, like Mont Blanc or kuri yokan (bean jelly with chestnuts).
Great with cake, not just Japanese sweets
Pair matcha with whatever you feel like, just as you would with coffee or black tea.
Whisking is an easy way to unwind
As you whisk matcha, you gradually relax, so it’s a good way to unwind when you take a break.
Try matcha latte
If you feel like trying something different, the creamy flavour of matcha also tastes very good mixed with milk, almond milk or soy milk.
Savour matcha in your favourite cup or glass
Matcha prepared using the Tea Bowl with Serving Spout can be served in any bowl, cup, or glass. Combine it with your favourite sweets to create a pleasing arrangement.
