This year’s Shincha has an amazing fragrance
Tip: Highlight the fragrance by brewing hotter than a typical sencha- we recommend 90°C for Shincha 2025.
Basic Shincha
- 10g
- 210ml
- 80℃
- 40 sec.
Use 10g of leaves (2 tablespoons)
Add 210ml of hot water (80°C)
Serve 40 seconds after beginning to pour the hot water.
*Shincha 2024, brew for slightly longer, for 50 seconds.
