How do you give it to people?
In the summer, I gave this set to a friend who recently had her first baby. How do you give it to people?
I use this as a souvenir to take back to my family in my hometown. I want them to taste the tea that I love, so I serve my family Kanro while giving them pointers on how to prepare delicious tea. During the hot summer, I cold-brew it. I put the tea leaves in chilled water, and let the tea brew 15 minutes. It really quenches your thirst, and the sweet, umami flavour is wonderful. In summer, I look forward to spending time with my family, after not having seen them for a long time, and the tea goes well with the special sweets my mother orders.
Why do you choose it?
For me, Kanro is the perfect Japanese tea in every respect, from its sweet, umami flavour to its pleasant lingering aftertaste. Of all the many types of Japanese tea, Kanro is my favourite, so much so that it is what I recommend whenever people ask me to suggest a gyokuro.

How do you give it to people?
Hiyakashi merchandise is only available this summer. I'm giving an assortment of the merchandise to a friend of mine who was born in summer.
