What Japanese tea do you enjoy outdoors?
Drip Tea Bag Hojicha (5g x 6 bags)
How do you enjoy it?
I take Drip Tea Bags with me when I go mountain climbing in autumn and winter when it is a bit cold. One of the things I enjoy in the mountains is the mountain climbing food. My partner and I boil water in a kettle, and then pour it over the Drip Tea Bags. Drinking aromatic, piping hot hojicha in the great outdoors fills me with joy! It also tastes great combined with gomoku gohan made with “alpha rice” at mealtime.
How do you prepare it?
I let it drip a bit longer to make the tea stronger. Rather than drink it right away, I wait and slowly take in the roasted aroma, which calms and relaxes my mind and body, making me feel really good. When I’ve hit a dead end or feel tired, regardless of whether it’s at work or somewhere else, drinking hojicha relaxes me and allows me to change my state of mind.

What Japanese tea do you enjoy outdoors?
One-Pot Teabag Kuki Sencha (stems) (7g x 9 bags)
How do you enjoy it?
I take warm Japanese tea with me when I go to cheer on friends playing on the American football club at the university I graduated from. I like drinking it when taking a break and staying hydrated during exciting football games.
How do you prepare it?
Hot Japanese tea is essential when watching American football games outdoors in autumn and winter. I prepare tea with Kuki Sencha One-Pot Teabags and water that’s a little hotter than usual, put that in my travel flask, and head off for the game. The tea that started out really hot is just the right temperature for drinking once I arrive at the football field. When I’ve rested a bit, and taken the lid off my travel flask, and warmed up by drinking a little tea, enjoying its rich aroma, it’s time for the game to start with the kickoff. During the game, I frequently take sips to keep my throat from getting hoarse from all the cheering. Kuki Sencha’s distinctive, invigorating taste and aroma let me to stay refreshed and support my team.

What Japanese tea do you enjoy outdoors?
One-Pot Teabag Mugicha (Barley Tea) (10g x 18 bags)
How do you enjoy it?
I drink mugicha when playing futsal with friends.
How do you prepare it?
One-Pot Teabags are really handy because they make it easy to prepare a large batch of tea. I put the teabags in a big, one-litre flask, and gulp it down. Mugicha is perfect for staying hydrated while exercising. I prepare it hot in winter because it is full-bodied and has clear flavour. It’s handy throughout the year because it warms you up and relaxes you.
