What’s your regular brand?

Horai-no-mukashi 20g Can

What do you like about it?

Its mild sweetness and refreshing sharpness leave me feeling that I can stay clearheaded all day long. It's also easy to drink, even for newcomers to matcha, making it a matcha the whole family can enjoy.

How do you enjoy it?

Our family has a Western breakfast with toast or pastries instead of rice each morning, sometimes with coffee, sometimes with matcha. We whisk up a bowl of matcha right away on busy mornings. We sometimes prepare it with milk so the kids can enjoy matcha latte.

What's your regular brand?

Seiun 40g Can

What do you like about it?

I really like its deep flavour, which is distinctive of a premium brand.

How do you enjoy it?

I find it very handy. I drink it prepared as koicha before I go mountain climbing, which I do a lot. It does a great job of clearing my head and it helps me to move my body more smoothly.

It's easy to prepare—whether I've just woken up in the morning, finished a meal, or I'm on a picnic, taking a break while driving, or I just want to kick back and relax—simply put the matcha in a flask with water, and shake it.
