The Ippodo Aoyama Store will be about a 10-minute walk from Omotesando Station, in the direction of the Nezu Museum.

The location on the second floor of a building is just past the area where stores selling fashion brands line the street, a popular destination for window shoppers. The opening is scheduled for August 29, 2025, the new store aims to provide a space for people to take a break and unwind.

The store will include a shop offering a full lineup of Japanese teas that can become a part of your life, as well as the Kaboku Tearoom, where you can try preparing the Japanese teas available on the tearoom menu, and perhaps find some new ideas. Hosting tea events from time to time, the tearoom will be a space where you can enjoy a broad variety of experiences related to Japanese tea. Ippodo staff expert in every aspect of Japanese tea will be on hand at all times, ready to help you with any questions you might have about Japanese tea.

Tearoom / Take-out

In the tearoom, the delicious offerings on the menu allow you to experience preparing Japanese tea and try out ideas for enjoying it as part of your day-to-day life.

In addition to Japanese tea and confections, we also offer light snacks. Savouring Japanese tea with well-matched menu items can provide useful hints as to what kind of Japanese tea to choose for meals and how to prepare it.

We also have Japanese tea for take-out if you’re running short on time. Feel free to pick up something to drink while you’re walking around town.
