I choose this assortment because I want the recipients to enjoy a variety of Japanese tea types. One-Pot Teabags, which are for making large batches of Japanese tea, come in very handy because they can be given to anyone, either an individual or a group of people, and regardless of whether they have a kyusu teapot. The gift box allows me to create assortments of various different things that I can give people, so I fill it with things that I like and give it to them. If I know they have a kyusu, I add Nichigetsu Sencha, which is one of my favourites.
How would you like them to enjoy it?
This One-Pot Teabag set should be suitable for any occasion, because the Japanese teas it contains are a good fit for both special occasions and day-to-day life. Kuki Hojicha is good for putting in a flask and drinking on a daily basis to stay hydrated. One-Pot Teabag Gyokuro and Kuki Sencha are delicious when prepared hot, but they can also be prepared cold to bring out a refined and mellow taste with sweetness and umami flavour. Now that I’ve started working at Ippodo, I would like my family, friends, and acquaintances familiar with Ippodo to enjoy my favourite Ippodo teas to their hearts’ content.

I take One-Cup Teabags with me while hiking in the mountains, so that I can drink Japanese tea when taking a break or at camp. They don’t take up space, so they make it possible for me to stay hydrated, and also relax my mind and body, even when I want to minimise the number of things I’m carrying. I also like that it lets me choose which of the teas I feel like drinking at the time from an assortment of three—gyokuro, sencha, and hojicha.
