- Nodoka- Special Spring Matcha

Our Special Spring Matcha is available from February to April.
It has a light mouthfeel that goes well with both Japanese and Western confections. The number of things it can be paired with is unlimited—swiss roll, strawberry shortcake, biscuits, etc. This is a matcha that your regular teatime companions will likely enjoy, even if they normally drink coffee or black tea. Try it with different sweets, and serve it in different types of cups and bowls—whatever takes your fancy.

New design rejoices in the arrival of spring

When the weather is still cold, it can be heartwarming to find a sign of spring—almost like discovering a taste of spring. After having endured the severe cold of winter, it fills you with joy to be able to welcome spring, when the new buds sprout. We adorned the package with spring imagery, including the refreshing verdure of late spring.

The package is very cheerful, communicating the energy and excitement of spring—with pink expressing cherry blossoms, and green evoking late spring, a lattice of white lines symbolizing rays of sunshine filtering down from the covering that is used to shade the fields in which matcha is grown, and new tea buds sparkling in sunlight, rendered in silver leaf to convey a three-dimensional feel.
