New Releases: One-Pot Teabag Hojicha and Sencha

Two new teas in our One-Pot Teabag series are now available!

We are adding sencha and hojicha versions to our One-Pot Teabag series, which allows you to easily enjoy the taste of authentic Japanese tea even if you don’t have a kyusu teapot.

The full line-up now includes eight different types of tea—Gyokuro, Sencha, Kuki Sencha (Stems), Hojicha, Kuki Hojicha (Roasted Stems), Genmaicha, Iribancha (Kyobancha), and Mugicha (Barley Tea).

The One-Pot Teabag series makes it possible for anyone, including newcomers to Japanese tea, to familiarize themselves with the distinctive taste and appeal of each of these teas. We invite you to give them a try.

One-Pot Teabag Hojicha (Roasted Tea) (4g x 8 bags) ¥1,100

▶How does hojicha taste?

Hojicha’s most distinctive quality is its roasted aroma. Its wonderful aroma and mild sweetness are very relaxing. Try One-Pot Teabag Hojicha, and see how it differs from the distinctive fruity aroma and full-bodied taste of Kuki Hojicha (Roasted Stems).

One-Pot Teabag Sencha (7g x 6 bags) ¥1,500

▶How does sencha taste?

In Japan, sencha is the most familiar tea, and is often called rokucha (green tea). Slightly sweet with the distinctive sharpness of Japanese tea, it is a great, all-round tea that is suitable for just about any occasion. One-Pot Teabag Sencha offers a classic, authentic deliciousness that contrasts with the refreshing flavour of Kuki Sencha (Stems), which is reminiscent of herb tea.

It can be prepared and enjoyed in a wide variety of ways!

The back of the package describes easy ways to prepare the tea, with illustrations. In addition to the standard way, the new packages show six alternative ways , including information about the temperature and amount of water to use.

They are simple and easy to follow, even for beginners, and accommodate a variety of preferences and situations to help you easily make Japanese tea a key part of your life.。
