We are writing to inform you that DHL, one of the services we ship through, will be revising its international shipping rates.
This rate revision is due to the significant changes in international shipping conditions. DHL has communicated with us that it is impossible for them to absorb rising costs with their current contractual rates and fee structure.

Reasons for the Rate Revision:
Rising Global Operating Costs: In addition to the impact of currency fluctuations and inflation, shipping-related costs, including labor and fuel expenses, continue to rise, particularly in major countries such as the United States.
Compounding Costs for B2C Deliveries: Deliveries for individuals (as all orders are on Ippodo Tea Global) incur significantly higher costs for collection, sorting, and delivery operations per order.

We sincerely apologise for the significant burden and inconvenience this will cause. In recent years, we've watched the changes in the international shipping climate with sadness. International shipping is a major barrier to receiving your favourite teas for daily enjoyment, and these further changes will make that barrier even more difficult.

We are working on making improvements to elements in our international logistics operations, with a goal of ensuring a more comfortable delivery experience in the future. While the full scope of the solutions is not yet finalized, we hope we can ask for your understanding with the current arrangement, difficult as it may be.
