Ippodo lovingly makes this black tea from tea leaves mainly from Kyoto Prefecture. It is a second harvest tea from sencha green tea fields. Produced from Japanese green tea cultivars, this black tea has some similarities to a green tea in its roundness, freshness, and bright fragrance. It’s an elegant, brilliant black tea that stands out in our offering. We hope regular drinkers of black tea and sencha alike will enjoy comparing and contrasting this tea to their usual favourites.
