Nichigetsu 80g Bag

What do you like about it?

Gulping down crisp, cold Nichigetsu after getting out of the shower is heavenly. Nichigetsu is refreshing and slightly sweet no matter how it’s prepared. It gives me an impression of pure mildness.

How do you prepare it?

I prepare it on the strong side, brewing it for about one minute using boiling hot water, and then pour it over ice. It’s great with meals because it goes very well with rice dishes. When I’m in an air-conditioned room and feeling cold, I prepare it with hot water at about 80°C, and brew it for 50 seconds. Its hot, mild sweetness is delightful.

Matcha To-Go Packets

What do you like about it?

I used to drink matcha by manually grinding green tea leaves into powder using a palm-sized stone mill, putting the powder in my travel flask with water, and shaking it at my desk. Since finding Matcha To-Go Packets, I’ve been enjoying authentic full-bodied matcha easily, without the need for all that preparation and clean up. Being able to simply empty a packet into my travel flask and hit the road is so convenient. It’s also a great help when I’m feeling peckish, because it keeps me going longer than water or other types of Japanese tea.

How do you prepare it?

Matcha powder mixes just as easily with cold water, too, so if I put chilled water or ice in my travel flask before leaving home or the office, when I’m outside all I have to do is add a Matcha To-Go Packet and shake to enjoy delicious matcha. On my days off when I can take it easy, I fill my favourite glass with lots of ice, and pour on matcha prepared with hot water, producing delicious, cold matcha. When I’m in the mood for more of a filling, dessert-like experience, I like a sweeter matcha prepared with milk instead of water.

Hatsu-mukashi 40g Box

What do you like about it?

It’s important to drink a protein shake after working out. But it can get boring just drinking protein shakes day after day. That’s when I recommend having a ‘protein matcha shake!’ Just mix matcha with your protein powder, and shake. It allows you to finish your workout with a delicious drink that has a wonderfully rich, matcha flavour. Hatsu-mukashi is an affordable matcha that doesn’t clump much even without being sifted, which makes it good for everyday use. If you’re drinking protein shakes, I recommend it for your workouts and for your health!

How do you prepare it?

Mix 3g of matcha powder, 15g of protein powder, and 200ml of chilled milk or soy milk in a shaker, and you’re all set to enjoy a tasty shake.
